I knew there would be many other bloggers who would already have had the same title idea, and was quite surprised that ‘thehuntingofthesnark.wordpress.com’ was still around. Anyway, thought it might be interesting to compile a list of fellow boojums lurking on the island (not all of these have recent content):
- The Hunting of the Snark – our namesake, the original ‘epic’ poem by Lewis Carroll, courtesy of Project Gutenberg
- The Book Snark – literary news and caustic reviews
- The Hunting of the Snark – political commentary (American, so I’m somewhat lost on the current events; but I really like the domain name)
- The Hunting of the Snark – new illustrations, especially of Lewis Carroll, and particularly especially of ‘Snark’
- Kill the Snark – film and media reviews, called ‘uncynical’ (and take your pick of blog eras: this is also a link to a link)
- Snark Hunting – making fun of product names, slogans etc
- Snark Lit – descriptions of funny, important literature with snarky themes
- Who is Oedipus Snark? – a short decription of the character from Alexander McCall Smith’s Corduroy Mansions
Feel free to nominate other sites below. Must be a site with ‘Snark’ or another reference to the poem in the title and/or domain name!
Un-Snarky promise: If you don’t want your page listed here, please let me know and I will remove it.
